Bharat Sevak Samaj (BSS) is the mother organization of NSIDC. This National Development Agency formulated by the Indian Parliament on the recommendation of the planning Commission, Government of India in 1952 undertakes variety of programs that can enhance the status of the nation through Human Resources Development. With the idea of tackling unemployment through job-oriented education, BSS extends computer and vocational training programs in various fields. Thus the ‘Total Employment Training for Total Development’ works on the Principle of Turning the Unskilled to Skilled one”. BSS has opened wide avenues of job opportunities in the academic and industrial institutions. In order to meet the present day challenges, well–acquainted skilled professionals and a skill acquired society are essential.
